2024 Valley Fever Walk

The 2024 Valley Fever Walk was held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, at CSUB’s Don Hart Drive East Lawn. Participants were able to take part in the Survivor’s Lap, ridiculous relay and Dunk-a-Doc games and other activities for all ages.

The annual event is instrumental in uniting physicians, patients, families, and community members to raise awareness about Valley Fever. Kern County is the epicenter of the disease, representing over 10% of all cases in the US.

The Valley Fever Walk plays a crucial role in supporting the lifesaving work of the Valley Fever Institute, where more patients are treated annually than anywhere else in the world.
